Job summary

Prominence Hospitality Group in Cookeville is seeking a motivated Cook to join our culinary team and help deliver memorable guest experiences at Holiday Inn Cookeville.

You will execute menu items with precision, support the kitchen team, and uphold health standards while staying organized and collaborative with chefs, servers, and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or in a high-volume kitchen preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
• Positive, energetic, and dependable with a passion for hospitality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and Cook: Execute menu items with precision and consistency, ensuring each plate meets quality standards.
• Support the Kitchen Team: Assist in food prep, line setup, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment.
• Maintain Health Standards: Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with local health codes.
• Be a Team Player: Work collaboratively with chefs, servers, and kitchen staff to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
• Stay Organized: Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food inventory to keep operations running smoothly.
