Job summary

Martine Center in White Plains, NY, is seeking a Cook to join our clinical dining team. The role involves preparing, cooking, and serving a variety of meals in a compassionate skilled nursing setting.

You will bake rolls and desserts, assist on tray line, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support food safety; certification in healthcare cooking is required, with at least one year of large-scale cooking experience. Strong teamwork and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Certification in healthcare cooking (SERV Safe or Sodexo).
• Minimum one year of experience in large-scale cooking.
• Strong knowledge of large-scale & therapeutic food prep.
• Must be able to do some physical work.
• Should be a strong team player.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Excellent customer service & communication skills.
• Will manage Kitchen in absence of food service director.
