Marcus Theatres is seeking a Part Time Cook to prepare and cook food items to perfection, ensuring orders are swift and accurate according to menu standards. You will work in a fast-paced, movie-theatre kitchen and help deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

What we are looking for:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends nights, and holidays. Tuesday availability is also a must.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Sufficient manual dexterity of hand in order to use all kitchen equipment, i.e., knives, spoons, spatulas, tongs, slicers, etc.
• Knowledge of proper knife handling, techniques, and cooking procedures and basic prep functions (i.e. cleaning greens, prepping vegetables).
• Ability to lift, push, or pull weights up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods, work in a confined space with high levels of noise and frequent interruptions, and perform duties within extreme temperature ranges.
• Ability to obtain any local, state or federal license or certification for sanitation, liquor service, or food service certification.
• Previous experience as a Cook, chef, prep cook, line cook, line staff, or in fast food, a kitchen, restaurant or other food handling operation are helpful.
