The Bungalows at Branson Meadows is seeking Cooks to join their team! The Cook reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director.

Shift Details

Part-Time

Purpose

The Cook is responsible for all food preparation to meet quality, quantity, and service standards for the community. Responsible for managing food production in the absence of the Lead Cook or Food and Beverage Director, handling all foods according to sanitary standards, and complying with all regulatory procedures.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Preparation and Food Service
  • Prepare and serve meals, maintain sanitation, keep records, receive and rotate inventory, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Follow posted menus and use approved recipes.
  • Prepare special dietary needs and texture-modified foods as directed.
  • Organize work to meet production and service requirements.
  • Monitor food quality, temperature, taste, and presentation.
  • Maintain sanitary conditions and operate dishwashing equipment according to standards.
Record Keeping/Resident Services
  • Maintain records for service standards and compliance, including temperatures and production quantities.
  • Protect resident confidentiality and review dietary information.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Culinary training preferred.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Current SERV Safe certification or willingness to obtain it.
