Brookdale is seeking a cook in Louisiana to prepare and portion meals according to standardized recipes and menus. You will use culinary techniques for grilling, baking and boiling while maintaining safety and cleanliness in the kitchen.

The role supports part-time and full-time scheduling and offers benefits such as health coverage, a 401(k), and other voluntary programs. Prioritizing timely meal preparation, you will contribute to a positive dining experience for residents and guests.

• Ensures proper preparation, portioning and serving of food according to standardized recipes and menus. Uses experience with cutting tools, cookware and bakeware, and knowledge of cooking procedures and methods of grilling, baking and boiling.
• Adheres to all sanitation and food safety standards. Maintains a clean kitchen.
• Prepares food in a timely manner at specified meal times.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.
