Job summary

Edgewood Healthcare is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for residents, staff and guests, following established menus and recipes. You will contribute to a warm dining experience and support event meal planning while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of cooking experience, hold a ServSafe certification or be willing to training, and are committed to learning and growing with our team.

Qualifications

• At least one year of cooking experience is required.
• Active ServSafe Certification is desired (training may be provided).
• Desire to help others and deliver great service.
• Willingness to train new staff and continue learning.
• Applicants must be 18 or older per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents, staff, and guests according to menus and recipes.
• Plan and assist with meal prep for resident and staff events.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and dining area.
• Assist with budget goals, inventory management, and production control.
• Follow HIPAA and Edgewood policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for our residents, staff, and guests based on company-established menus and recipes
• Help plan and meal prep for resident and employee special events
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and dining room
• Assist with achieving budget goals, inventory management, and production control
• Follow HIPAA and all other Edgewood policies

Qualifications

• At least one year of previous cooking experience, required
• Active ServSafe Certification, desired Edgewood will provide any required training and certification
• Passion and drive for helping others
• Willingness to train new employees
