Responsibilities

• Prepare food for patients and others using a variety of production tools, techniques and equipment.
• Ensure meal service demands are met. Maintains a sanitary work environment.
• Take customer orders and prepare food to their specifications.
• Grill, cook, and fry foods.
• Plan and manage work orders to ensure all items of an order are finished and served at the same time.
• Grill and garnish hamburgers and other meats.
• Perform simple food preparation tasks, such as slicing up meats and vegetables.
• Complete orders from steam tables, plate the food, and serve to the customers.
• Order supplies and stocking the shelves.
• Rotate food and stamp the time and date on the food in the coolers.
• Clean food preparation equipment and areas.

Job Overview
