Job summary

Sauk County Health Care Center is hiring a full-time Cook to prepare meals for residents and staff, following standardized recipes and menu extensions. You will help with inventory, monitor food temperatures, and maintain sanitary conditions in a supportive dining service team.

Responsibilities include meal preparation for breakfast, lunch, dinner and special events, acting as a backup for the Food Services Supervisor, using ECS to monitor diets, and assisting with Dining Assistant tasks as

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Industrial or commercial food preparation experience preferred.

Varied shifts from 6:00 am until 7:00 pm. Please note these hours are subject to change and additional hours may be needed or required. Compensation for additional hours beyond normal working hours are subject to applicable state and federal regulations.

Minimum Training and Education

Required:

Industrial or commercial food preparation experience
