Job summary

Edgewood Alexandria is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for residents and staff, following established menus and recipes. You’ll contribute to an outstanding dining experience in a warm, community-focused environment.

Responsibilities include meal preparation, event support, and maintaining a clean kitchen and dining room. The role also involves inventory control, budget support, and adherence to policies to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience, desired.
• Active ServSafe Certification, training provided by Edgewood.
• Passion and drive for helping others.
• Willingness to train new employees.
• Desire to continue learning and improving skills.

• Help plan and meal prep for resident and employee special events
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and dining room
