Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting seeks an experienced Chief Operating Officer to oversee company operations, boost manufacturing performance, and guide growth from Santa Monica, California. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on leadership in plastics, polymers, packaging, or related industries and a proven ability to raise capacity, quality, and on-time delivery while building high-performance teams.

You will manage budgets, lead supply chain and logistics, and collaborate with the CEO and leadership team

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive leadership in manufacturing or industrial operations.
Experience leading manufacturing facilities, production teams, or complex multi-department operations.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and profitability initiatives.
MBA or related master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations including manufacturing, planning, logistics, and supply chain.
Improve capacity, efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.
Lead large-scale manufacturing and warehouse operations and staffing.
Plan site build-out of new manufacturing and distribution centers.
Establish operating procedures, KPIs, and reporting for leadership.
Drive budgets, expenses, and profitability improvements.
Collaborate with CEO and executive team on strategic initiatives.
