Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Chief Operating Officer for the newly created FICC Financial Risk & Strategy function. The role leads risk governance, strategic execution, and resource management across Macro, Structured Credit, and other FICC areas.

You will partner with treasury, finance, compliance, and technology to ensure efficient operations while enabling growth within regulatory guidelines. The position demands extensive FICC experience and leadership across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of FICC products across Rates, Credit, Municipals, Securitized Products, FX, Commodities and Financing.
• 15+ years total experience across FICC businesses, including 3+ years in COO or leadership.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 required; Series 24 or equivalent preferred.
• Proven collaboration with Corporate Treasury, Risk, Operations, and Compliance.
• Experience representing FICC lines of business in internal/external forums.
• Ability to lead change management and transformational initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technology, risk infrastructure, and system processes to support growth across FICC.
• Drive KPI tracking, analytics, and management reporting for strategic priorities.
• Serve as primary execution partner translating priorities into actions including BTIG integration.
