The Center for Climate Resilience (CCR) at the University of Pennsylvania seeks a Deputy Director to lead daily operations across three units and supervise the team. The role collaborates with the Faculty Director to design fundraising strategies, prepare proposals, budgets, and reports, and to manage external partnerships with government, corporate, and academic partners.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in operations, program management, or fundraising.
• Experience supervising staff, with demonstrated ability to lead multiple teams.
• Demonstrated success raising funds, including foundation grants, government contracts, or donor gifts.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets with multiple funding streams and allocate resources.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the Center's chief operating officer. Manage daily operations across three operating units, including staffing, onboarding, and performance coaching.
• Design and execute the Center's fundraising strategy and pipeline; prepare letters of inquiry, proposals, budgets, and reports; coordinate with SP2 offices.
• Steward relationships with government, corporate, foundation, and academic partners; manage communications, contracting logistics, and reporting.
• Oversee the Center's budget, grants, contracts, and expenditures; liaise with SP2 finance and research administration on budgets and subawards.
• Develop and maintain the Center's strategic plan, milestones, and external communications; plan seminars, convenings, and events.
