Advantest America seeks an operator to process PCBs through conveyorized wet-process lines, ensuring on-time, correct deliveries. You will set up process parameters, monitor equipment, and perform chemical maintenance, while documenting data in logs or MES systems.

Responsibilities include inspecting panels, loading/unloading with care, reporting deviations, and keeping a clean 5S workplace. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and contributing to yield improvements in a manufacturing setting.

• Maintain proper bath chemistry and document maintenance activities.

Responsabilidades

• Process work orders through production using procedures and quality checks.
• Operate and monitor conveyorized wet-process equipment (desmear, etch, develop).
• Set up process parameters (conveyor speed, temperature, spray pressure, chem concentrations).
• Add chemicals and adjust concentrations; document chemical maintenance.
• Inspect panels before/after processing for etch quality and cleanliness.
• Load/unload PCB panels without damage; prevent contamination.
• Monitor pumps, heaters, filters, spray bars, and nozzles for stable operation.
• Perform daily/weekly equipment cleaning; change filters and clean nozzles.
• Record process data and production information in logs or MES systems.
• Identify/report deviations, malfunctions, or recurring defects to engineering/supervision.
• Follow job travelers and engineering docs for each run; maintain safety PPE practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area per 5S and facility standards.
• Support continuous improvement to yield, throughput, and process stability.
• Assist crosstraining and other tasks as directed by supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities:

The basic function of this position is to process work orders through the production function utilizing process procedures and quality checks to insure on-time, correct deliveries.

General Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor conveyorized wetprocess equipment such as desmear, etch, develop, strip, clean, oxide, Sanding & scrubbing, and rinse lines.
• Set up process parameters, including conveyor speed, temperature, spray pressure, and chemical concentrations.
• Perform routine chemical titrations and solution checks to maintain proper bath chemistry.
• Add chemicals, adjust concentrations, and document all chemical maintenance activities.
• Inspect panels before and after processing to ensure proper etch quality, cleanliness, and surface condition.
• Load and unload PCB panels onto conveyorized lines while preventing scratches, contamination, or handling damage.
• Monitor equipment performance, including pumps, heaters, filters, spray bars, and nozzles, to ensure stable operation.
• Perform daily and weekly equipment cleaning, including filter changes, nozzle cleaning, and tank maintenance.
• Record process data, chemical readings, and production information accurately in logs or MES systems.
• Identify and report process deviations, equipment malfunctions, or recurring defects to engineering or supervision.
• Follow job travelers, work instructions, and engineering documentation for each production run.
• Handle chemicals safely and follow all PPE, ventilation, and hazardousmaterial procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with 5S and facility standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to yield, throughput, and process stability
• Support crosstraining efforts and carry out other tasks assigned by the supervisor to meet production needs.
