Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Lakewood, WA is seeking a Warehouse Maintenance Technician to support conveyor systems and warehouse equipment. The role performs preventive maintenance, mechanical repair, electrical troubleshooting, lubrication, and inspections to maximize uptime and efficiency.

Hourly pay is $25.00 per hour based on experience, with a schedule Monday-Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. Shift premium may apply.

Qualifications

Vocational or Technical certification in related field or 3 years of relevant experience required.
Knowledge of 480 volts and pneumatic equipment intermediate required.
Must have working knowledge of computer-based equipment maintenance and parts inventory systems.
Ability to use PLC and HMI Programming software to add form and function to an established program; Allen Bradley, Ignition, and Wonderware preferred.
Understand 24VDC control systems, sensors (photoelectric & proximity) intermediate required.
Experience with programming/troubleshooting Servo and Stepper motors and related software.
Ability to troubleshoot/program Bar Code Scanners and other Vision Systems (Cognex, Datalogic, Keyence).
Warehouse Maintenance safety procedures including LOTO, Fall Restraint, Forklift/MHE safety.

Responsibilities

Ensure PM entries into software are complete and accurate.
Utilizes maintenance management systems to keep department organized and communicate with plant and corporate management.
Maintain spare parts inventories in line with procedures.
Contribute to maintenance policy and SOP improvements for the facility.
Keep maintenance area clean and tour-ready.
Ensure GMP compliance.
Establish work schedules meeting PM demands.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Participate in safety and Lean programs; support Ryder culture.
