Job summary

Pengate Handling Systems is hiring a Conveyor Technician to join our Service Team in Pennsylvania. You will repair and service conveyor equipment and systems, ensuring complete customer satisfaction with professional, safe workmanship.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance, splicing, belt alignment, and documentation for service calls. A high school diploma and 3+ years of breakdown or field service experience are required, with ability to lift 50 lbs and climb

Qualifications

• Industry experience in material handling or conveyors.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to climb ladders and/or work on elevated platforms 15'–30' high.

Responsibilities

• Installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of all types of conveyor equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to policy and procedures.
• Prepare documentation for each service call.
• Proficient in belt lacing, splicing, cutting, vulcanizing, and cold bonding belts.
• Maintain valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Follow customer safety guidelines during repairs on-site.
• Mechanical, electric, pneumatic and software integration problem solving.
• Perform belt alignment and tracking.
• Additional duties as required.
