Job summary

Diversified Recruitment Services, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to transform concepts into robust products. You will create detailed drawings, select CAD methods, and collaborate across Marketing, Sales, and Engineering to advance development.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline and 3–5 years of mechanical design experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or Inventor. FEA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical or product design.
• Proficiency with CAD tools: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp or Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Create new mechanical solutions from conceptual ideas.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings, models, and supporting documentation.
• Assess technical and project requirements to ensure feasibility and alignment.
• Conduct research to support design and product development activities.
• Present design concepts and recommendations to managers and stakeholders.
• Test, evaluate, and refine products through iterative design cycles.
• Prepare engineering reports, documentation, and technical communications.
• Support the development and enhancement of CAD modeling tools and customer design resources.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and Engineering teams to advance product development goals.
