Job summary

WorkBox Staffing seeks a Conveyor Mechanic in North Haven, CT for a temporary conveyor installation role. The technician assembles, aligns, and installs industrial conveyor systems and supporting steel per blueprints, using hand and power tools to bolt, weld, and position components.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Installation & Assembly: Assemble conveyor frames, support steel, rollers, pulleys, bearings, and motors per drawings.
• Alignment & Testing: Level and straighten conveyors to ensure precise alignment.
• Site Layout: Assist with layout, measurement, and positioning of equipment.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Replace worn components and perform routine repairs.
• Safety Adherence: Follow OSHA safety standards on all job sites.
• Project Documentation: Record installation activities, labor hours, and parts used.
