Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Installer to join our installation team supporting large-scale material handling and conveyor projects across the continental United States. You will handle layout, pre-assembly, installation, and run-in of conveyor equipment, including structural steel, platforms, guardrails, and air piping.

This 100% travel role requires reading engineered drawings, strict safety adherence, and guiding less experienced personnel on site.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret detailed mechanical drawings.
• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions safely.
• Hold a HS diploma or equivalent; OSHA 10 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the layout and pre‑assembly of conveyor systems.
• Install overhead steel beams, elevated walkways, and structural components with precision.
• Assemble and align conveyors, guard rails, racks, and air piping.
• Interpret drawings and follow instructions to implement project plans.
• Adhere to safety procedures and LOTO protocols on job sites.
