Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Field Service Technician II – Lifecycle Services to diagnose, repair, and service conveyor-driven sorting systems in customer sites. You will perform preventive maintenance, install upgrades, and train less experienced technicians while maintaining strong customer relations.

Ideal candidates have a solid electronics/mechanical background, can read schematics, and flex shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical and electrical preventative maintenance on conveyors.
• Strong electronics/electrical background and ability to read technical drawings.
• Excellent customer service and ability to train others.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
• Proficiency applying software skills to equipment and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and service conveyor-driven sorting systems to maximize uptime.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and scheduled upgrades.
• Install new equipment and assist with retrofits as needed.
• Manage parts inventory and on-site tools to ensure swift service.
• Provide clear communication and training to customers and junior techs.
• Respond to emergencies and follow service bulletin updates promptly.
• Maintain strong customer relations and accurate service documentation.
