Job summary

Atlas Energy Solutions Inc. is seeking a Conveyor Director to lead the Dune Express project in West Texas.

You will oversee operations, maintenance, and strategic development of a groundbreaking overland conveyor system, ensuring safe, efficient transport of sand across rugged terrain. In this senior role, you will manage a multidisciplinary team, develop preventive maintenance programs, monitor performance metrics, and interact with executives on milestones, budgets, and compliance with OSHA,

Qualifications

10+ years in industrial conveyor systems, mining, or heavy infrastructure.
Proven leadership experience managing large-scale mechanical systems and teams.
Strong problem-solving, communication and project management skills.
Experience reading drawings and schematics for mechanical/electrical systems.
Proficient with Navisworks, AutoCAD, Tekla, Revit or SolidWorks.
Willingness to be based in or travel frequently to West Texas.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the Dune Express conveyor system.
Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and operators.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and emergency protocols.
Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
Manage vendor relationships and related contracts.
Help with system upgrades, expansions, and long-term planning.
Manage schedules, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and environmental regulations.
