Job summary

A & Associates is seeking a dedicated Sorter for 1st shift (7am - 3:30pm) in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The candidate will ensure proper placement and sorting of materials along the conveyor line, following SOPs and safety procedures.

The position offers outdoor work environment with physical tasks including reaching, lifting, and standing for long periods. Responsibilities include inspecting materials, sorting by type and grade, operating the conveyor, and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Three months related experience or training preferred.
• High School Diploma preferred and at least three months related experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials and sort items or materials into piles or containers by type, size, condition, coloring or paper grade.
• Pull contaminants out of paper or off of floor.
• Stack boxes and skids.
• Dump boxes and totes of material.
• Feed material such as wastepaper onto conveyor.
• Clean up conveyor and surrounding sorting line.
