Job summary

Target is seeking a Sliding Shoe Sorter Technician for our regional distribution center south of Dallas. You will maintain Interroll and TGW sliding shoe sorter systems, replace worn shoes and slat conveyor components, calibrate divert points and coordinate with the controls team to troubleshoot sort errors and jams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in sortation or conveyor maintenance, hands-on mechanical aptitude with chain, slat and shoe components, and the ability to read wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sortation or conveyor maintenance experience.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude with chain, slat, and shoe components.
• Experience with proximity sensors and photo-eye alignment.
• Ability to read sortation system wiring diagrams.
• Flexibility to work overtime during peak retail seasons.
