Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Installer to join our Installation team across the continental United States. You will layout, pre-assemble, install, and run-in conveyor systems, including structural steel and air piping, while reading detailed mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and layouts.
Experience installing conveyor components and supporting structures.
Commitment to safety, including LOTO procedures and PPE use.

Responsibilities

Coordinate layout and pre-assembly of conveyor systems for seamless integration.
Install header steel, platforms, structural steel and mechanical components with precision.
Assemble and align conveyors, guard rails, racks, and ventilation piping.
Interpret detailed drawings and assembly instructions to execute project plans.
Follow safety procedures and quality standards; keep tools and area organized.
Role involves 100% travel across the continental U.S. and on-site coordination.
