Job summary

Dmwandh is hiring a supervisor to lead a crew installing conveyors, support structures, sub-assemblies, and air systems at field sites in New Jersey. You will oversee scheduling, safety, and quality on active projects.

The role requires welding and lift equipment experience, willingness to travel, and strong coordination with multiple trades while maintaining site discipline and productivity.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience leading conveyor installation crews (min 5 mechanics).
• Ability to read and understand equipment BOMs.
• Willingness to overnight travel/long assignments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with shoe sorter / pop up sorter / header steel installations preferred.
• Welding experience required.
• Able to operate lift equipment.
• GOH and rail experience a plus.
• Willing to learn FieldWire and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee material handling system installations meeting deadlines and budget goals.
• Layout conveyor systems from installation drawings.
• Supervise crews to install MDR, accumulation, belt-on-roller, sorters, and merge tables.
• Unload and inventory equipment deliveries.
• Represent the Company in on-site meetings and communicate with customers daily.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and coordinate with all trades on site.
• Assess staffing needs and submit timesheets/expense reports weekly.
• Identify risks and escalate to Project Manager; train new staff on safety and site policies.
