Job summary

Fanatics Commerce in Aberdeen, MD seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation of fulfillment center systems and material handling equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, sortation, and related assets, with hands-on mechanical/electrical work and PLC/VFD control emphasis.

You will operate in a safety‑driven environment, using drawings and diagnostic tools to identify root causes, implement fixes, and document maintenance

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related experience or education in material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical systems from blueprints/schematics.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, Soft Starts, Servo Drives, and external I/O devices.
• Fabrication skills for repairs/modifications to equipment/structures.
• Proficiency in MS Office for work orders and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair conveyor and sortation systems to maintain throughput.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility assets and PIT equipment.
• Work safely and adhere to departmental and company standards.
• Collaborate with operations teams to prioritize repair work and minimize downtime.
