Job summary

AMMEGA in Franklin Park, IL is seeking a ConveyorBeltTechnician to fabricate and install conveyor belts and related industrial products. You will work with the production team to ensure quality and timely delivery, and support shipping/receiving as needed.

The ideal candidate has industrial or production experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift heavy weights (75+ pounds) while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility around scheduling – ability to work occasional nights and/or weekend coverage.
• Previous industrial or production experience.
• Ability to regularly lift heavy weight materials (75+ pounds on average).
• Ability to regularly bend, stoop, rotate arms and upper body; occasional climbing.
• Positive team spirit and learning agility.

Responsibilities

• Process orders safely and operate light industrial equipment.
• Communicate with supervisor regarding orders, scheduling, and other production issues.
• Ensure timely shipping of belting products and receiving deliveries to correct recipients.
• Maintain shipping/receiving department with needed supplies.
• Process and maintain reports.
• Provide on-call assistance as required.
• Monitor inventory usage and report low levels to supervisor; participate in annual inventory.
