Job summary

AMMEGA is seeking a Conveyor Belt Technician to join our Production team. You will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of conveyor belts and related industrial products, contributing to safe and efficient operations.

You will process orders, communicate with supervision, and help maintain inventory and shipping/receiving activities. The role requires physical capability to lift heavy items and occasional non-standard hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Flexibility to work occasional nights and/or weekend shifts.
• Previous industrial or production experience preferred.
• Strong fundamental math skills.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Process orders safely and operate light industrial equipment.
• Communicate with supervisor regarding orders, schedules and production issues.
• Ensure timely shipping and receiving of belting products and route to correct recipient.
• Maintain shipping/receiving area and keep supplies stocked.
• Process and maintain production reports and records.
• Provide on-call assistance as needed.
• Assist with inventory accuracy and cycle counts during annual inventory.

Conveyor Belt Technician

For our AMMEGA Production team, we are currently looking for a Conveyor Belt Technician. As a Conveyor Belt Technician, you will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of conveyor belts and related industrial products.

A day in the life of a Conveyor Belt Technician can look like

• Processing orders in a safe and efficient manner and operating light industrial equipment.
• Communicating with supervisor regarding assigned orders, scheduling, and other production issues.
• Ensuring timely shipping of belting product; receiving shipments in a timely manner and ensuring delivery to correct recipient.
• Maintaining shipping/receiving department with needed supplies.
• Processing and maintaining reports.
• Providing on-call assistance as required.
• Recognizing appropriate inventory usage and report low levels to supervisor, maintaining cycle counts log, and participating in once-a-year inventory.

We are looking for you to have

• A High School diploma.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility around scheduling – ability to work occasional nights and/or weekend coverage.
• Previous industrial or production experience.
• Strong fundamental math skills.
• Ability to regularly lift heavy weight materials (75+ pounds on average).
• Ability to regularly bend, stoop, rotate arms and upper body; ability to frequently push, pull, sit, stand, and reach. Some climbing is required.
