Job summary

AMMEGA is seeking a Conveyor Belt Technician to fabricate and install conveyor belts and related industrial products. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional travel to customer sites for installations.

The candidate must lift 75+ pounds, pass a background check including MVR, and have strong math skills. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, and a proactive approach to change and problem-solving.

Qualifications

Must pass background check, including MVR record.
Heavy lifting ability (75+ pounds).
Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends.
Industrial or production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Process orders in a safe, efficient manner and operate light industrial equipment.
Communicate with supervisor regarding orders, scheduling, and production issues.
Ensure timely shipping/receiving of belting products and verify deliveries.
Maintain shipping/receiving area with supplies and equipment.
Process and maintain production reports.
Travel to multiple locations to install products; occasional overnight travel.
Provide on-call support as required.
Assist with inventory counts and reporting.

For our MIR and AMMEGA Production team, we are currently looking for a Conveyor Belt Technician.

As a Conveyor Belt Technician, you will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of conveyor belts and related industrial products.

Hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM.

A day in the life of a Conveyor Belt Technician can look like

Processing orders in a safe and efficient manner and operating light industrial equipment.
Communicating with supervisor regarding assigned orders, scheduling, and other production issues.
Ensuring timely shipping of belting product; receiving shipments in a timely manner and ensuring delivery to correct recipient.
Maintaining shipping/receiving department with needed supplies.
Processing and maintaining reports.
Traveling to various locations to install product.Occasional overnight travel required. (We will pay for gas, meal, and hotel while traveling overnight).
Providing on-call assistance as required.
Recognizing appropriate inventory usage and report low levels to supervisor, maintaining cycle counts log, and participating in once-a-year inventory.

We are looking for you to have

A High School diploma.
A current and valid driver’s license.
MUST pass background check, including MVR record
Strong fundamental math skills.
Flexibility around scheduling – ability to work occasional nights and/or weekend coverage.
Previous industrial or production experience.
Ability to regularly lift heavy weight materials (75+ pounds on average).
Ability to regularly bend, stoop, rotate arms and upper body; ability to frequently push, pull, sit, stand, and reach. Some climbing is required.
