Job summary

Y-tec Keylex Toyotetsu Alabama is seeking a Conveyance Manager to optimize material flow and support a JIT sequencing process. You will design practical routes, lead the Conveyance team, and partner with automation vendors to implement cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent experience.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a production environment.
• Working knowledge of plant logistics and inventory control/flow processes.
• Proficient computer and software skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports production to evaluate customer needs by reviewing current processes and material flow.
• Designs material handling and delivery systems, specifying equipment and layouts.
• Leads project management for cart and tugger design and implementation.
• Collaborates with automation vendors to verify solutions meet specifications and cost goals.
• Creates and supports Kaizen activities for improvements within the Conveyance department.
• Prepares department budgets and monitors performance against budget.
