Pregis Corporation is seeking a Converting Supervisor to lead the Grand Rapids Converting production team on the 2nd shift. You will plan and direct daily operations, assign workloads, and ensure production targets are met while maintaining safety standards and quality.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in plant operations with 2+ years in a supervisory role, plus an associate degree (preferred). Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in plant operations and 2+ years of management.
• Lean manufacturing understanding is required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and team-building ability.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision to the Converting production team.
• Plans daily work schedules, sets priorities, and allocates work assignments to meet production goals.
• Evaluates employee performance and provides feedback; uses corrective action when needed.
• Ensures safe working environment through inspections, safety meetings, and proper procedures.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Coordinate with Production Manager to ensure schedules meet customer expectations.
