Job summary

IPG is looking for a Converting Operator in our production team. The role involves setting up and operating multiple converting machines (Band Saw, Perforator, Sealer 2000, Sheeter) and performing routine quality checks to ensure orders meet specifications.

You will troubleshoot equipment, prepare goods for shipping, label and palletize finished products, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Basic math and computer skills are required, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Manufacturing experience helpful.
No travel required.
Must be able to work in varying temperatures above 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
Ability to repeatedly lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
Must have basic computer skills.
Must have basic math skills.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate multiple converting machinery (Band Saw, Perforator, Sealer 2000, Sheeter).
Troubleshoot machinery and make adjustments as needed.
Produce orders to schedule and specification.
Prepare goods for shipping using various equipment.
Label finished goods, place on pallets as necessary.
Perform quality control checks.
Ability to read tape measure.
Must be detailed oriented and have a sense of urgency.
Use PPE as required.
Maintain good housekeeping.
Related tasks as requested by supervisor.
