Job summary

IPG is seeking a Converting Operator in North Carolina to operate converting equipment and support production goals. The role requires reading a tape measure, basic math, and a readiness to work in high temperatures.

The operator will set up machinery, troubleshoot issues, manage quality checks, and prepare finished goods for shipping, with attention to detail and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience is helpful.
• No travel required.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures above 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must have basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple converting machinery: Band Saw, Perforator, Sealer 2000, Sheeter.
• Troubleshoot machinery and make adjustments as needed.
• Produce orders to schedule and specification.
• Prepare goods for shipping using various equipment.
• Label finished goods and place on pallets as necessary.
• Perform quality control checks.
• Read tape measure accurately.
• Must be detailed oriented and have a sense of urgency.
• Use PPE as required.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
• Related tasks as requested by supervisor.
