Job summary

IPG is seeking a Converting Operator to join our Production team. Operates converting equipment and supports production goals in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include setup, operation, quality checks, and packaging of finished goods.

The role requires reading tape measures, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in temperatures over 95°F. Prior manufacturing experience and basic computer/math skills are preferred. This is a non-exempt hourly position with PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience is helpful.
• Must be able to work in temperatures above 95°F.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple converting machinery.
• Band Saw.
• Perforator.
• Sealer 2000.
• Sheeter.
• Troubleshoot machinery and make adjustments as needed.
• Produce orders to schedule and specification.
• Prepare goods for shipping using various equipment.
• Label finished goods, place on pallets as necessary.
• Perform quality control checks.
• Read tape measure.
• Must be detailed oriented and have a sense of urgency.
• Use PPE as required.
