Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking a Converting Operator A to ensure production of the highest quality products meeting customer specifications. The role requires safe operation of assigned equipment and ready adaptation to varied shifts and workloads.

Responsibilities include maintaining scrap logs, operating machinery at peak output while preserving quality, completing paperwork accurately, and performing basic inspections and troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Prefer previous experience with operation of electric pallet jack and manufacturing environment.
• Ensure consistent attendance and willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours.

Responsibilities

• Accurately maintain scrap produced (weigh and tag when taken from production areas).
• Demonstrate ability to operate machinery at maximum output while achieving top quality product.
• Must complete all paperwork with accuracy and in a timely manner.
• Perform basic visual and physical quality inspection for finishing product.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for quality and machine shutdown.
• Perform job changing based on work instruction (printing plate, size, quantity etc.).
• Move finished goods, gaylords, operation supplies to and from storage and production areas by hand or using manual electric pallet trucks.
• Maintain a clean and neat work area in the production area, scrap areas, finishing goods storage areas, and box area.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks to remove trash, dirt, scrap, and plastic pellets from the production floor.
• Empty trash dumpsters and designated broken pallet areas daily.
• Must ensure that General Manufacturing policies are being followed.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacturing.
• Knowledge of proper operation of all machinery.
• Abide by all Inteplast IBS safety policies and procedures.
