Job summary

Inteplast Group in Lewistown, PA is hiring a Converting Operator C to support our manufacturing line. You will startup, operate, and adjust converting equipment, perform routine quality checks, document results, and communicate issues promptly to the team to keep production on schedule.

The position requires a high school diploma, legal eligibility to work in the US, and basic math and mechanical aptitude. Strong written and verbal communication, reliability, and willingness to work non-standard

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legal eligibility to work in the US.
• Experience in manufacturing with knowledge of production processes and quality control.
• Effective written and verbal communication with all levels.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours as necessary.
• Ability to manage job-related stress and foster productive interactions.

Responsibilities

• Startup, shutdown and adjust machines.
• Inspect final product with quality checks and document issues.
• Maintain pace with production, meet daily targets, and keep area clean.
• Comply with and enforce all safety regulations.
• Follow plant policies including GMP, hazard analysis and CCPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
