Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Converting Operator C at the Lewistown plant to efficiently run converting lines and produce quality products according to specifications. You will monitor processes, perform adjustments, and document outcomes to maintain safety and efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma, US work eligibility, basic math and mechanical aptitude, and strong communication. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, and flexibility for non-standard hours is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Legal eligibility to work in the US.
• Manufacturing experience preferred with knowledge of production processes, quality control, and ROI.
• Effective written and verbal communication with all levels of personnel.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Attendance and willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours.
• Capable of managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Responsibilities

• Complies with, monitors, and enforces all written and verbal safety regulations and programs of the plant and department.
• Understand and adhere to plant policies and procedures, encompassing good manufacturing policy, hazard analysis, and critical control points processes.
• Startup, shutdown and make machine adjustments.
• Inspect final product using quality checks, ensuring proper documentation and timely communication of any issues.
• Demonstrate the capability to maintain pace with the production process and achieve daily production targets while also ensuring cleanliness in the designated area.
• Other duties as assigned

TITLE: Converting Operator C

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Efficiently and accurately run converting lines to produce converted products according to specifications, maintaining quality standards throughout the process.

• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
