Job summary

Open to qualified internal candidates seeking to expand manufacturing skills. Starting rate is $21.50/hr with progression to $22.50/hr after one year, plus $1.00/hr shift differential for 2nd/3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow work instructions, safety rules, and quality standards.
• Basic math, measurement, and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Perform required equipment safety inspections.
• Set up, inspect, and operate water jet and punch press equipment.
• Verify alignment, measurements, and cut quality.
• Inspect test cuts, work-in-process, and finished products for defects.
• Comply with GMP and ISO requirements.
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
• Package and label finished goods per work order instructions.
• Properly identify scrap or reusable materials.
• Support inventory counts as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with production, quality, maintenance, safety, and warehouse teams.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors and coworkers.

Employment Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Shifts: Second 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Third 10:00 pm to 6:00 am

The Converting Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient production of filter sheets using water jet and punch press equipment. This role supports product quality, regulatory compliance, and production efficiency in a GMP / ISO-regulated manufacturing environment.

This opportunity is open to qualified internal candidates interested in expanding their manufacturing skills and experience.

Pay Information

• Starting rate: $21.50 per hour
• Progression rate: $22.50 per hour after one year in the position in accordance with the

manufacturing pay table

• Shift differential: $1.00 per hour for 2nd and 3rd shift

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Perform required equipment safety inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Machine Operation

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
