Job summary

Kimberly-Clark in Mobile, Alabama, is hiring an Operations Technician (Converting) to support the production, packaging, and distribution of essential products like Huggies, Kleenex and Cottonelle. You will operate large converting equipment, perform routine maintenance, and participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of continuous work experience preferred.
• 3+ years of direct relevant industrial/plant operating experience in an operator, mechanic, and/or technical support role.
• Basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
• Pass pre-employment assessment and pre-employment drug + background screening.
• Pass post-offer / pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT).
• Motivated self-starter with accountability and ownership of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Converting equipment to standard objectives.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and multi-tasking.
• Read and understand written instructions, rules, guidelines and Standard Work Procedures.
• Demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures and rules.
• Align with Kimberly-Clark’s Ways of Working and focus on customers.
