Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Converting Supervisor to oversee safe, efficient production at the Corrugated Container facility in Massachusetts. You will set performance expectations, drive KPIs, and mentor team members to meet daily targets while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience in converting/packaging, with Lean experience and Six Sigma belts preferred. Strong communication and collaboration across functions are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of converting supervisory experience in a packaging facility.
• Experience in a Lean environment is preferred.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities and team members.
• Communicate performance expectations and KPIs to achieve targets.
• Oversee safety compliance, policies, and incident prevention.
• Plan workforce needs and manage attendance and vacations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional areas to meet production needs.
• Coach and mentor staff and support continuous improvement initiatives.
