Job summary

IPG is hiring a Converting Operator in our Production department. The role involves operating converting equipment, maintaining quality, and ensuring timely production to meet order specifications. You will work in varying temperatures and handle physical tasks as needed.

The position is non-exempt hourly, requiring reliability, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols. Training and PPE are provided to support safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to work in temperatures above 95°F.
• Able to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple converting machinery.
• Operate Band Saw, Perforator, Sealer 2000, and Sheeter.
• Troubleshoot machinery and adjust as needed.
• Produce orders to schedule and specification.
• Prepare goods for shipping using various equipment.
• Label finished goods and place on pallets.
