The Sofidel Group, based in the United States, seeks a Converting Equipment Specialist to join Sofidel America. This role focuses on operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting converting lines, ensuring safe operation and production quality while optimizing performance.

You will contribute to preventive maintenance, SOP development, and training of junior staff for a collaborative, safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot converting equipment.
• Proficiency in reading equipment manuals and schematics.
• Ability to perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot converting equipment.
• Ensure efficient and safe machine operation to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Perform routine equipment inspections, adjustments, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team for complex equipment repairs and upgrades.
• Monitor production processes, making necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and production data.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for all tasks to operate, maintain, and change over equipment.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior operators and technicians.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
