Job summary

Sofidel America of Duluth, part of the Sofidel Group, is seeking a Converting Production Manager to lead our tissue paper converting operations. The role focuses on safety, quality, and efficiency, with accountability for meeting production targets and developing a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in tissue paper converting or related manufacturing, a Bachelor’s in a relevant field, and strong Lean/Six Sigma know-how to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in tissue paper converting or similar.
Experience leading teams in high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day converting operations to meet targets safely and efficiently.
Lead staff development and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Monitor KPIs like productivity, waste reduction, and equipment efficiency.
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and QA to drive operational excellence.
Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to streamline processes.
Provide performance feedback and development opportunities to staff.
