Qualifications

Job description

Job Overview: The converter welder position is very detail-oriented and labor intensive. This position is responsible for brazing (TIG welding) to reinforce different components of the converter. This position will also be responsible for the final Inventory and ordering of parts for the converter. You will also be responsible for cleaning components using a soda blaster and a pressure washer. This position may require lifting up to 25lbs. Associates must be fast paced and communicate effectively. This position is responsible for processing up to 140+ converters daily. The ideal candidate would have welding experience. This position requires an individual who can lift repeatedly and maintain good focus.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

Qualifications:

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as drills, impacts, hammers, calipers, and micrometers.
• Walking: Occasionally
• Stooping (forward leaning): Occasionally
• Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally

Salary and Benefits:

• Starting rate $19.00 + based on experience.
