Job summary

AEG's Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles is seeking Conversion Team members to transform venues for events by laying floors, exposing ice, and setting up stages. This role involves overnight shifts and physical work in a dynamic arena environment.

Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in warm or cold conditions, and follow instructions with limited supervision. A flexible schedule including weekends is required to support major events.

Qualifications

• Mostly overnight shifts (10pm-6am).
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to understand and follow directions with limited supervision.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available regularly.
• Must be able to do repeated lifting (up to 25 pounds unassisted), bending, standing, extending arms, stooping, walking, and running for extended periods.
• Must carry 50 lbs. unassisted up to 1/3 time, and 20 lbs. continuously.
• Must perform repetitive hand/arm movements and push/pull, squeeze.
• Twisting, bending and squatting frequently; kneeling or crawling occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Convert venues for events: lay basketball floors, expose/cover ice, set seating risers, build stages.
• Perform duties under time-sensitive, fast-paced conditions.
• Work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Summary:

Conversion Team members are responsible for changing over the building for the various events that take place. This includes laying the basketball floor, exposing and covering up the ice surface, setting seating risers, building stages, and various other duties.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to work a varied schedule (Mostly overnights 10pm-6am), and including weekends and holidays, required. Some Saturday's and Sunday's we have double headers. During double headers you must be available 2pm-6pm.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to understand and follow directions, and perform job functions under limited supervision.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Must be able to do repeated lifting (up to 25 pounds unassisted), bending, standing, able to extend arms, stoop, walk, and run for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to carry 50 lbs. unassisted up to 1/3 time, and 20 lbs. continuously
• Must be able to perform repetitive hand & arm movements and simple grasping constantly; pushing & pulling, squeezing.
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat frequently; kneel or crawl occasionally
• Must be able to work under pressure, in time sensitive operations, in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to work in a warm or cold environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• A valid forklift certification.

Pay scale: $22.60

Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.

Benefits: Part-time: This position may be eligible for benefits per CBA requirements.
