Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Safeguards Enforcement Analyst focused on Conventional Weapons to help detect and mitigate misuse of our AI systems and to drive enforcement decisions across a range of policy areas.

In this role you will design scalable enforcement workflows, develop evals, work with Engineering and Data Science, review flagged content, and stay current with weapons trends and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Deep, applied expertise in weapons systems to support enforcement decisions.
• Experience in policy enforcement, threat intelligence, or related fields with exposure to harmful content.
• Experience standing up and scaling enforcement workflows.
• Proficiency in SQL and/or data analysis to monitor workflow health.
• Experience communicating findings to cross-functional teams.
• Experience with generative AI products, including prompts for content review.
• Understanding policy implementation at scale in moderation.

Responsibilities

• Design automated enforcement systems and scalable review workflows.
• Develop and maintain evals to measure model performance in policy areas.
• Partner with Engineering and Data Science to optimize detection and enforcement.
• Review flagged content to drive enforcement decisions and identify gaps.
• Provide feedback on policy gaps to policy design team.
• Develop enforcement guidelines and reviewer documentation.
• Stay updated on weapons trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.
• Identify emerging misuse patterns and signs of coordinated violent activity.
