Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience with manual mills and lathes.
• TIG welding certification and/or training required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and verbal instructions.
• Basic general machine shop mathematics.
• Good mechanical aptitude and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Fixture and TIG weld stainless steel components using manual torch.
• Set up and operate mills and lathes for prototypes and small runs.
• Maintain equipment and measuring tools in clean, safe area.
• Read blueprints and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
• Run close tolerance parts of titanium, plastics, and stainless steel.
• Sharpen cutting tools and perform routine maintenance.
• Work with minimal supervision.
