Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) represents a client in the power generation and industrial equipment repair sector seeking a Conventional Machinist. You will operate, set up, and maintain manual lathes, mills, and related shop equipment to produce and repair metal components.

Read blueprints and work orders, measure with micrometers/calipers, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous process improvements in a safety‑driven, hands‑on environment.

Qualifications

• Strong conventional machining skills with setup and operation of manual lathes and mills.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and work instructions with precision.
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers and gauges for inspection.
• Understanding of machining principles, materials, tooling, speeds and finishes.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely around equipment.

Responsibilities
