Rosen Hotels & Resorts in Orlando, FL is seeking a Convention Services Manager to oversee all group-related communications across hotel departments and ensure seamless event coordination. The role involves meeting clients to understand needs, managing room reservations, and communicating event details to teams to guarantee smooth operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of convention services experience, with a Bachelor's in Hospitality Management and CMP preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 2 years in convention services or related field.
• Experience in convention services administration is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred; CMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directly communicates with the group/customer contact and collects information to facilitate a successful conference.
• Collaborates with the sales department manager and maintains open lines of communication.
• Utilizes computer programs—Outlook, Word, Excel—for planning and coordination.
• Conducts pre-convention meetings with group contacts to gather all needs before arrival.
• Coordinates and communicates Group Resume, Program Outline, Banquet Event Orders, VIP amenities, and production load‑in/load‑out.
• Maintains knowledge of food and beverage offerings and banquet menus; manages group room blocks.
