Job Description

The Convenience Site Attendant is responsible for safely guiding waste site users in disposing of acceptable waste and recyclables into designated containers, while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Arrive on time, open and close the site as per schedule.
2. Greet patrons and assist with proper waste disposal.
3. Maintain cleanliness of the site and surrounding grounds.
4. Assist drivers with waste containers and cleanup.
5. Monitor waste levels in containers and operate compactors.
6. Provide assistance to customers when needed.
7. Work weekends as required.
8. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Ability to operate necessary vehicles and equipment.
2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Basic math skills.
4. Ability to read and understand instructions and policies.
5. Problem-solving skills and common sense reasoning.
6. Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
7. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 20 pounds, and perform related tasks.

Physical and Mental Demands

Working Conditions
