Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking an Industrial Automation Technician to diagnose and repair complex automation and control system failures in our North Carolina facility. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs, HMI, servo, VFD and networking, with 3-5 years of experience and an Associate degree preferred.

• Working knowledge of Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs, HMI systems, servo controls and VFDs.
• Ability to modify ladder logic and troubleshoot control systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems up to 480V.
• Experience with robotics and automated material handling systems.
• Availability for off-shift support and emergency response.

• Working knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs, Siemens PLCs, HMI systems, Servo controls, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Industrial networking
• Ability to modify ladder logic and troubleshoot control systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems up to 480V.
• Experience with robotics and automated material handling systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as required.
• Availability for off-shift support and emergency response.

Education and Experience

• Associate degree in Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of supporting automated manufacturing equipment.
